Food Truck School at Town Square with Matt Trotter

Food Trucks are taking the nation by storm. It’s an easy and inexpensive way to break into the restaurant business. But how easy? And how cheap? Where do you start? How do you know if you’re doing it right? How do you know if this is really the business for you?

Matt Trotter, owner of The Horseradish Food Truck--and now the bricks-and-mortar Horseradish Kitchen + Market--will take you step-by-step through the process of creating and managing a successful Food Truck Business.

Just three years ago, on a whim, Matt bought an old school bus on Craigslist and towed it to a lot near his retail store, Teak and Soxy. The bus had no motor and no kitchen. But he figured out how to make the business work. Now, with a new restaurant opening in November 2017, the Horseradish Food Truck will be on the go.

You can do it, too!

Food Truck School is a four-session course that will take you from dreamer to doer, giving you everything you need to launch a successful food truck business by the 2018 season. Decide what to serve, learn how to get the right licenses, how to find and build-out a truck, and how to run and market your business.
