Town Square Community Center’s annual Party on the Pond live music bash drew a crowd of more than 1,000 community members and visitors to downtown Green Lake on Monday, July 3.

“The energy was electric,” said Executive Director Kris Anderson. “Between the music and the crowd, we couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off a rocking holiday in Green Lake. We want to thank our sponsors ,Our Green Lake and their properties Elan Brio Spa, Green Lake Inn, The Manor on Green Lake, and Goose Blind, and the many volunteers that helped make it a success.”

The free event, held outside on Town Square’s Mill Pond Terrace, featured entertainment by two Wisconsin bands, Best Practice and Joliana, plus food and refreshments from local establishments Walk the Dog, Adam’s Rib, and Town Square Tap. The town was abuzz all weekend leading up to the holiday with the Chamber of Commerce and local businesses organizing great events for the public, from a petting zoo to live music to a fireworks show.
