The family-friendly, community-favorite game will feature a 50-50 raffle, door prizes, and special gifts sponsored by Goose Blind Grill and Bar. Bingo cards start at $10 each and are good for all games including the last blackout game for the progressive jackpot. Concessions, including soda, chips, beer, wine, and $2 Sheboygan hot dogs, will be available throughout the night. Doors open at 5:30 pm at 492 Hill Street, Green Lake.
The second annual Green Lake Community Street Bash is coming back to Downtown Green Lake on Saturday, September 1. The free event will take place overlooking the Green Lake Mill Pond on Water Street. Food trucks, street games and a cash bar will begin at 6:00 pm, with live music by the Davidson County Band from 7:00 – 10:00 PM. Special thanks to local philanthropists Mike and Jill Havey for sponsoring the community-scale party to benefit local nonprofit organizations.
The Green Lake Bird and Nature Club will host a special presentation about Aerial Insectivores on Wednesday, August 15 at 6:30 pm in Town Square Community Center. This promises to be a fascinating educational opportunity for nature-lovers in the Green Lake area. The event is free and open to the public.
Renowned artist Melissa Dorn Richards will be in Green Lake to share with participants the approach to her iconic blend of humor and abstract art at a one-day, all-day workshop on Saturday, August 11 from 10 am - 2 pm. The workshop is open to participants ages 16 and up and the registration fee of $90 includes a paint set, brush set, canvas and palette pad. Students are asked to bring their own sketchbook and colored pencils.

Local Artist Faye Barber-Schmuhl will be demonstrating her liquid acrylic techniques at a one-day workshop in Town Square Community Center. Over 50 new documentaries will be screened across 3 days, Friday, June 15 thru Sunday, June 17, attracting local and international audiences to Green Lake, WI. They are the stories of vulnerable people, wildlife and ecosystems that are making a comeback, against extraordinary odds. Many films are already gaining attention on the awards circuit, some tipped as serious Oscar and BAFTA contenders. More importantly, the films are inspiring positive changes in public behavior and in political and corporate decisions that are leading to recoveries of endangered wildlife, vulnerable communities, and ecosystems.
Town Square Community Center is excited to host a new summer program and learning experience for children kindergarten through 5th grade: Camp Chocolate. Two sessions will be held for separate age groups: June 12 through 15 for grades k-2, and June 19 through 22 for grades 3-5. The camp will run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday. The price for the program, including materials, is $25 per child.
Green Lake Fitness 24/7, the downtown facility located at Town Square and operated by the non-profit Green Lake Renewal, is offering a special membership of three months for $75 this summer.
