Amigos of the flamingo are invited to Pink Flamingo Bingo on Saturday, July 27 at Town Square Community Center in Downtown Green Lake. Doors and concessions open at 5:00 pm, game sales open at 5:30 pm and game sessions start at 6:30 pm.

Starting September 11, 2019, Moraine Park Technical College will offer a five-week business startup series of classes at Town Square Community Center. More than 200 supporters of Town Square Community Center enjoyed a lovely evening at the White Hot Party fundraising event on Saturday, July 13 atop beautiful Sandstone Bluff overlooking majestic Green Lake at the property of the Vandervelde Family. The 2019 White Hot Party was made possible in part by generous sponsors and a team of volunteers. Special thanks go out to Co-chairs Joan Lloyd and Madden for their time and efforts to make the White Hot Party spectacular. Thank you to three local caterers, who teamed to provide food for the event: Goose Blind Grill and Bar, Horseradish Kitchen + Market, and Peppercorn Catering.
Tammera Doering has joined Green Lake Renewal’s Town Square Community Center as Events and Programs Manager. Ms. Doering will be working closely with the rest of the staff to carry out the organization’s daily operations, including space management, creation and maintenance of schedules, and assisting in the creation and management of future programs at Town Square.
More than 40 Town Square community center volunteers were recognized at the annual volunteer appreciation celebration, hosted by Green Lake Renewal Board Member Jo Ellen Madden and Ambassador Joan Lloyd. The event was held at the Greenway House Bed and Breakfast and catered by Kari Schliecher of Bliss Catering in Green Lake last Friday evening.
